Ich hoffe, dass das Geld dort gut angelegt ist, obwohl mir spontan ein paar vieleicht “f�rderungsw�rdigere” Projekte einfallen w�rden.

Standard, Standard, Standards. Ich nehme ja immer noch gerne an, was mir andere vorsetzen. Und wenn ich mein Blogwerkzeug wechseln m�chte, m�chte ich nicht meine Software wechseln. Und andersrum.

In recent weeks a significant amount of discussion has been ongoing as to the future of Weblog APIs. At issue is that there are two similar, but different Web service APIs in use — the Blogger and MetaWeblog APIs. Within each of those APIs are various interoperability and implementation issues and even some extensions. The community clearly wants one tool-agnostic API that all can utilize and integrate tools with, but there is differing views as to how this will and should happen.

There’s an interesting, if somewhat conjectural and esoteric, item on Motorcycle Daily today about steel vs. aluminum frames. Is “tuned flex” in an otherwise superstiff aluminum chassis as good as an expertly built steel frame? I suppose the only way to really answer this is to build two bikes with the same geometry and powertrain, one with an aluminum frame and one with steel. Should cost under a hundred grand. Any takers?
