Urban Transport Planner
We are seeking a motivated Urban Transport Planner to shape the future of sustainable mobility and modern city infrastructure. This role combines technical expertise with visionary planning to create efficient, safe, and inclusive transport systems.“
Key Responsibilities
- Traffic Analysis & Forecasting – Assess traffic flows, congestion trends, safety data, and demand projections for road and rail networks.
- Modeling & Simulation – Apply leading tools (e.g., VISSIM, SYNCHRO, AIMSUN) to model traffic behavior and evaluate infrastructure or policy scenarios.
- Infrastructure Planning – Design innovative road and rail solutions, including intersections, bicycle lanes, and pedestrian pathways.
- Public Transport Integration – Develop strategies to connect buses, metros, trams, and active mobility into cohesive urban transport systems.
- Policy & Strategy Development – Propose forward-thinking transport policies, pricing mechanisms (fares, parking, congestion), traffic management approaches, and emission-reduction measures.
- Stakeholder Collaboration – Engage with governments, engineers, architects, and communities to drive successful transport initiatives.
Your Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering or Urban Planning.
- Proven expertise in data analysis, transport modeling, and simulation.
- Proficiency in transport modeling software, CAD, and GIS tools.
- Experience in PTV software will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Awareness of environmental and social impacts of transport planning.
Experience
- Proven expertise in data analysis, transport modeling, and simulation.
- Proficiency in transportation modeling software, CAD applications, and GIS tools.
- Experience in PTV software will be an advantage.
English Language Proficiency
- Proficiency in English written and verbal communication
