Enabling investment in climate action and biodiversity in Latin America and the Caribbean

Across Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), the project aims to support the scaling of transformative actions for climate change mitigation, adaptation and biodiversity conservation.

LAC face mounting pressures from climate change. Despite significant regional ambition reflected in national climate plans, biodiversity strategies and sector reform agendas, private sector engagement remains constrained by complex regulatory environments, limited bankability of green initiatives and weak enabling frameworks.

The “Legal, Financial and Economic Advisory Services in Latin America and the Caribbean in line with the EU Global Gateway Strategy” project forms part of the broader EU EuroClima programme. Target groups include public entities, cooperatives, SMEs, business associations and civil society actors operating across five thematic areas: sustainable mobility, energy transition, biodiversity and nature-based solutions, circular and bioeconomy, and water management.

The consortium of Dorsch Impact and Como Consult supports EuroClima’s integrated approach, linking business model development to regulatory reform, enabling environments and regional political dialogue.
