Integrated planning for the new Al Metlaa residential district in Al Ain
Al Metlaa is planned as a new residential district in the Al Ain region, combining housing with public facilities and everyday services. The aim is a family-friendly environment with essential amenities close to home.
The 514-hectare site calls for coordinated urban and infrastructure planning. Housing, education and healthcare facilities, roads and utility networks must be brought together within a coherent layout.
As lead design consultant, Dorsch Global provides masterplanning, concept, schematic and detailed design, as well as construction supervision. The plans cover 2,400 villas of varying sizes, schools, mosques, nurseries, clinics, community centres and retail facilities. They also include roads and networks for stormwater drainage, irrigation, power and telecommunications. Dorsch also prepares tender and contract documentation.
