Turning Sustainability into Impact

Our Commitments

At Dorsch Global, we believe that sustainability is a shared responsibility - one that also extends to how we engage with society. We recognize that the challenges we face as a global community require all of us to play an active part. That is why we actively take part in external initiatives that reflect our values and help us strengthen our contribution to a more equitable and sustainable future. Through our engagement for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and with the Charta der Vielfalt e.V., we align our actions with global frameworks that promote values we consider essential to the work we do and the world we help design.

Contributing to Sustainable Development

Adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development sets out a joined blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet. At its core lie the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which address interconnected challenges - from climate action and clean energy to quality education, gender equality, and sustainable cities.

The past decade has seen meaningful global progress: since 2015, access to education, healthcare, and digital connectivity has expanded. More people now have electricity than ever before - with renewable energy emerging as the fastest‑growing power source worldwide. However, progress has been fragile and unequal. Achieving the Agenda 2030 remains extremely complex, with the current pace of chance not sufficient to achieve all goals by 2030.

At Dorsch Global, we have determined that our key contribution to the SDGs lies in our client projects, where we deliver tangible impact across environmental and social fields in more than 60 countries worldwide. We have identified the following twelve focus SDGs that particularly align with our business mission of shaping sustainable living spaces worldwide, and for which our technical expertise and skills can make the most relevant contribution to the achievement of the respective goals.

There are few things that make us prouder at Dorsch Global than the diversity of our global team and the wealth of expertise and perspectives that every day flow into our more than 12,000 projects worldwide.

Taking a Stance for Diversity

At Dorsch Global, we know that sustainable success can only be achieved by bringing together the most diverse approaches, diverse professional and cultural perspectives, experiences, and talents.

That is why we not only want to promote diversity, but also actively live it - in our teams, projects and partnerships. With talents from over 95 countries, we are proud to bring together different approaches that shape solutions and drive impact in our projects.

Multicultural workplaces are an enrichment to all of us, and at the same time, it is imperative that we continue to foster diversity within our global team. As a proud signatory of the ‘Charta der Vielfalt’ (Diversity Charter), the largest network for diversity, equity and inclusion in Germany, we are committed to promoting these values both within our organisation and beyond. By embracing varied perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds, we foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and collaboration.
